Railroad Memories Museum presents an opportunity for young and old alike to explore the expanse of railroad history, forklore, art, and modeling represented by the museum's collection. Enthusiasts of all ages enjoy the HO model of the Spooner railroad yard as it was in the earlier years, and the G gauge trains that run overhead as they enter the museum. Volunteers will introduce visitors to the rich history of the building and the impact of the railroad on the Spooner area. Visitors may then proceed at their own pace, or take a guided tour, through the museum's collection of lanterns, track equipment, photos, historical documents, art, and other historical railroad memorabilia. |
